Microsoft has unveiled October’s Games With Gold lineup as part of their Inside Xbox broadcast earlier today.
As usual, both Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers have their selection of free games this month.
October’s Games with Gold are:
Xbox One
- Overcooked (October 1-30)
- Victor Vran (October 16-November 15)
Xbox 360 (compatible with Xbox One)
- Stuntman: Ignition (October 1-15)
- Hitman: Blood Money (October 16-30)
Overcooked is an excellent co-op title that’s a great exercise in hilarious frustration as you and your friends try to prepare increasingly complex meals for the hungry masses. Ghost Town Games really nailed an appealing co-op game with that one. Hitman: Blood Money is also an amazing pickup if you haven’t somehow played it. The the fourth installment in the Hitman video game series from 2006 remains one of the best for classic assassin action in the series.
Bear in mind that you need an active Xbox Live Gold sub in order to access these deals. Still, there’s some pretty great games in the bundle for this month. Also, you still have until the end of this month to claim the Xbox Live Games with Gold bundle from September.
