NVIDIA GeForce Now

The newest set of driver updates from NVIDIA has landed, bringing with it some bug fixes, hardware optimizations and a new set of GameReady drivers for the newly released free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone. Call of Duty: Warzone adds a new standalone mode to last year’s Modern Warfare, bringing free-to-play Battle Royale with 150 players to the shooter franchise. The game has exploded in popularity on Twitch and Mixer, and is grabbing headlines all over. If you’re looking to hop into the game, go check out the PC system requirements first, then make sure to grab the new NVIDIA GeForce 442.59 WHQL driver if you’re using a green team GPU.

Some driver tweaking also enabled support for the 1650 and 1660 SUPER lines of GPUs with the NVIDIA GeForce 442.59 WHQL driver. CUDA 10.2 has also been enabled by default with this release on all available GPUs SKUs.

Those on the VR side of things will notice that VRSS (Variable Rate Super Sampling) has been turned on as well. Image Sharpening is also enabled for DirectX, Vulkan, and OpenGL applications. Other software improvements include support for G-SYNC for OpenGL and Vulkan-based applications, as well as a new implementation of HDMI VRR.
