No Man’s Sky Beyond kicks off with space crabs
With the release of the newest expansion to No Man’s Sky, Beyond, Hello Games will allow players to take to the infinite galaxy with their friends.
And as with other expansions to the game, developer Hello Games has packed in other features as well. There are of course more assets for the generation algorithms to use to create new terrain and alien life. One interesting addition with this patch is the inclusion of alien mounts, so players can now ride giant goofy looking space crabs around, if they so desire.
As has long been anticipated by those still playing the game, this is the full multiplayer update to No Man’s Sky. Beyond adds a bunch of new social and multiplayer features which will , “empower players everywhere in the universe to meet and play together.” These social features will allow players to communicate with each other as well as share information about the galaxy around them. Using this, a small team of gamers can vastly improve their efficiency at exploring the known galaxy.
No Man’s Sky Beyond will be available from August 14 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 with a VR release for Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and Vive. Watch the new trailer below.
