During Dead or Alive Festival 2018, Koei Tecmo revealed that yet another new character is coming to Dead or Alive 6.
This new character is named NiCO and is uniquely weird, much like any hardcore fan would expect from this typically over-the-top franchise.
NiCO comes from Finland and brings her own strange alter ego to the roster of the upcoming fighting game. Her masked alias, luchadora La Mariposa, is a dangerous foe with some really impressive acrobatic skills. NiCO herself brings her own skillset to the brawl. You see, she’s known as “The Lightning Technomancer” for a reason, mainly her extremely competent skills with technology and weaponry. She uses shocking gloves in combat which make her quite the force to be reckoned with.
But new characters, and some returning fan-favorites, aren’t the only news about Dead or Alive 6 we have this week either. With the 11 currently revealed fighters, there’s some new gameplay elements to talk about as well. One major new feature set is the Break system. Players build up their Break Gauge, and this new meter can be utilized in Break Holds and Break Blows to unleash devastating damage and inflict certain negative statuses. In other words, this is the first time the DOA series has had a Super Meter.
