New Pokemon Let’s Go trailer shows off Legendary birds and PoGo integration

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are headed for the Nintendo Switch pretty soon, and Nintendo is looking to show off the game as much as possible.

There are lots of things different from the more tradition Pokémon games with these new Switch titles. From the new Gym requirements and a bunch of new special moves that replace HMs, there’s some more changes to get used to if you’re an established fan of the franchise.

One of the other changes, and the primary focus of the newest trailer, is that players can catch any Pokémon they want from the beginning, with one notable exception. The three Legendary Birds – Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres – which players will encounter during their journey throughout Kanto, will be the only encounters that have specific capture requirements. You’ll have to battle these powerful beasts in order to catch them.

The trailer also shows off the GO Parks, special locations where players can catch some new friends to add to their Pokemon Go accounts. Nintendo has revealed that there is a limit to the number of Pokémon you can catch per PoGo account in-game is limited, you’ll be able to attach multiple Pokemon Go accounts to a single save file. That means that you and your friends could potentially share access to the GO Parks.
