New Man of Medan trailer gets spooky

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan Trailer

Bandai Namco has revealed a new trailer, and with it some more story details, about The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan.

The new trailer introduces the Curator, a character who we don’t know much about, but he seems to know the world of the game extremely well. Throughout the course of the trailer, with a backing monologue from said Curator, we see teases of some gameplay and the outcome of some player choices.

The game follows a group of teenagers as they explore the ghostly wreck of a WWII ship in the South Pacific. The four main characters must survive increasingly weird and dangerous circumstances as they try to find a way out of this nightmare.

Things very quickly go haywire, and they have to find a way to survive increasingly dangerous circumstances. And given that this is a project from Supermassive Games, player choice will be vital, and the consequences may be dire. The game, much like Until Dawn, focuses on a very cinematic experience with a heavy dose of emotional storytelling. And many are billing The Dark Pictures Anthology as a return to form for the developers, so we could expect great things.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan is due out in 2019 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Check out the latest trailer for the horror game down below. You could also head over the official site to learn more about the game.
