Some new Kingdom Hearts III footage has been released showing some gameplay of the Toy Story inspired levels in the upcoming RPG. The newest bit of gameplay footage shows Andy’s Room specifically.
This new footage comes from a special Premiere event in Santa Monica. And given that it is the first real look at gameplay for Kingdom Hearts III in quite a while, it seems like the game is shaping up nicely. And as you would expect, iconic characters from the Toy Story franchise like Woody and Buzz are in the game. Of course, this is just scratching the surface of the references and characters from the various franchises in KH III. Expect to see familiar faces, objects, and references from Disney cartoons, Pixar movies, Disney World rides, Final Fantasy, and more.
In case you’re concerned, the reaction at the event to game performance was very stable and handled well even in intense scenes. Although this references the Xbox One X, no confirmation yet on how the game handles the base hardware, although we expect it to do fine.

The game comes out later this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you want to see more, keep on the lookout for the release date announcement and more gameplay from E3 next month.
