Ubisoft unveils new gameplay for Transference on PSVR

Ubisoft's Transference

Ubisoft announced this week that their upcoming VR horror game, Transference, finally has a release date.

Transference has some very sinister vibes going for it judging from the teasers and gameplay we’ve seen. The digitized horror look the game is going for is quite unsettling.

The player is tasked with exploring the mind of a troubled test subject affected by post-traumatic stess disorder. Solving puzzles will help to repair his memories and piecing together his stories by experiencing different perspectives. And being that it’s meant as a VR game, expect some spookiness right off the bat. With it’s surreal color schemes and eerie vibes, this game is sure to scare pants off of some people when it releases.

And don’t worry if you don’t have a VR headset, or are playing the game on the Xbox One, the game doesn’t require a VR headset at all.

Check out some fresh gameplay footage for Transference down below. There’s also the E3 2018 trailer down there. Transference will release on September 18 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. And of course, it will have VR support. A demo is available now on the Playstation Store.
