The MyTeam mode in NBA 2K21 is hyper-competitive. Trying to build the best possible roster without spending too much cash on packs and other redemptions is a huge problem for many fans. And despite their obvious greed, Take-Two and 2K don’t completely have their heads in the sand. Every so often, the developer will release free codes that can be used to claim some unique rewards in the mode for no extra cost.
The Locker Codes system can give players an edge with free Tokens, special cards, and more. You just have to be quick. Some of the NBA 2K21 Locker Codes are limited, so you need to be fast in claiming them. To redeem the NBA 2K21 Locker Codes, look under the MyTeam section of the menu. We will talk more about that later in this guide. For now, let’s look at what codes are out there.
As of now, there are three types of codes in the game. Each code can only be redeemed once by each player, but there are other limitations as well. The Unlimited codes can be redeemed by any player that enters them, as long as they remain active. There are also codes that expire after a set date, and can no longer be redeemed after that. There are also quantity limitations for some codes, meaning they cannot be used once a certain number of people have claimed them.
NBA 2K21 Locker Codes (January 2021)
So far, a few codes have been added for the redemption. Each code includes a few different items within it, and can be redeemed once by a player.
- NEW-YEARS-RESOLUTION – PD AI, Ja Morant, Contract, or Shoe (Expires January 8)
- MyTEAM-JAYCANADA-3RQM2 – Free Random Pack.
- MAGIC-JOHNSON-IDOLS-1 – IDOLS Series 1: Magic, Grant Hill, KD, Dominique Wilkins, or Manu Ginobili (Expires January 7)
- SEASON-3-PETTIT-HARDEN – Season 3 Bob Pettit, Dirk Nowitzki, Walter Davis, or Jason Richardson Pack (Expires January 6)
- BEST-OF-2K-21-DROP – Draft, Flash 3 or 4, Possessed, IDOLS Series 1 KD or Grant Hill Pack (Expires April 1)
- SLAM-IT-HOME-LAVINE – Season 3 Jayson Tatum, Zach LaVine, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker Pack (Expires January 3)
- MYTEAM-KILLZAMOI-6BKG2 – Free Random Pack (Expires January 8)
- VINCE-CARTER-GAME-WINNER – Vince Carter Card
- MYTEAM-COMMUNITY-HUB – 1 Token, Shoe, Contract, or Basketball Pack
You can redeem codes both within your copy of the game, or via the MyNBA2K21 app. Look for the Locker Code option within either option to do so.
