Mortal Shell Physical Edition Has Been Delayed

Mortal Shell Physical Edition has been hit with a slight delay this week. The delay has happened primarily due to issues stemming from the global pandemic of COVID-19. “We sincerely apologise to our fans all over the world who have been eagerly waiting for the physical release,” said Playstack CEO, Harvey Elliott.

The publisher Playstack has announced the delay for all platforms, meaning that the original release of October 2 will now be pushed back to October 23 on PC. The console releases will be back a bit more. US user should set up to st the game on November 3.

Going further, the team behind the game had the following to say about the issues and future plans: “Our number one priority is to get Mortal Shell in your hands as soon as possible, therefore we have decided to release each edition of the game the very moment it becomes available. That in turn means a slightly scattered release.” We would like to thank the amazing Mortal Shell community for its support and patience,” Elliott added.

US:

EUROPE:

At the very least, the content of the physical releases won’t be altered, nor will the price. The basic version of Mortal Shell‘s physical edition will retail for $29.99 and will include an exclusive fold-out poster and softback artbook. Said artbook includes concept and character art from the making of the game.

Keep in mind that the PC port of the physical version does not include a disk. Instead, it’s bundled with a key for the Epic Games Store.
