Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate showcases Rambo getting first blood in new trailer

Rambo is coming to MK 11

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is about to blast onto the scene with a new batch of DLC characters, and is giving fans some early footage to show those in action. Rambo is the first up to get a character trailer, showcasing some really vicious combat moves. Included as part of Kombat Pack 2 Rambo will be a pretty heavy-hitting mid-range character. The fighting game has so many options now, why not throw another one on the pile. We even get a peek at Rambo’s Fatality—and it’s quite vicious and involves punji sticks—so it definitely fits with this particular game.

Sly Stallone’s character is even voiced by the actor, which lends some incredible depth to the nonsense that is seeing this character in a fighting game. It’s by no means the first time a film icon has shown up though. The Terminator was also released, bringing plenty of robotic spine-ripping abilities to the roster. The legendary horror hero Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise also hopped into the fray, as voiced by Bruce Campbell.

Rambo comes alongside returning series characters Mileena and Rain in Kombat Pack 2, which will be available separately or as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate bundle. That bundle is basically all of the DLC for the fighting game released to this point. It includes all the iconic fighters from within the lore, as well as a bunch of fantasy inclusions like the Terminator.

Kombat Pack 2 also includes Mileena and Rain as new characters, and will debut alongside the next-gen port of the game on November 17, 2020.
