Mortal Kombat 11 MK Movie Skin Pack Revealed

Mortal Kombat 11 MK Movie Skin Pack Revealed

Raiden, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage are some classic MK characters, and the classic 90’s films that are based on the games are something that many fans still enjoy to this day. The cheesy portrayals of the iconic fighters is pretty well-known, and has become somewhat important to how people enjoy the whole film. And with a new update, there’s some of that nostalgia coming to Mortal Kombat 11. The new DLC is called the MK Movie Skin Pack and features all three of the most visible characters from the films.

The pack features Christopher Lambert, Linden Ashby and Bridgette Wilson-Sampras reprising their iconic roles as Raiden, Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade respectively.  The voice lines have been redone for the characters with the new actors, giving them a spike of nostalgia. This means that there is all-new dialogue for the pack for all three characters.

NetherRealm has even released a trailer for the DLC pack showing off the fighters. And to be clear, using these skins will replace the default performances. So that means that the Sonya Blade portrayal by conspiracy peddler and partner-beating transphobe Ronda Rousey will be removed.  Rousey is a well-known name, and was probably included for her fighting career. Some fans might like it if she was removed, although having to pay for the privilege of not having such a bigot in their game. But if you really want her gone, the option is there.

Check out the trailer for the skin pack below.

The Klassic MK Movie Skin pack is available now for Mortal Kombat 11 . And if you’re in the mood for some next-gen brawling, there was a port release for Xbox Series X|S called the Ultimate Edtion, which also came out for Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. The DLC pack costs $5.99.
