Moons of Madness delayed for PS4 and Xbox One until March

Moons of Madness

Publisher Funcom has announced that Moons of Madness has been delayed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by two months until March 24, 2020. The PC version of the game came out in October 2019, and found a bit of success among fans of the genre. And there was originally a plan to bring the console version soon, but that plan has now changed. According to developer Rock Pocket Games they want to “give the developers more time to optimize the game for console,” and it needs a bit of attention in the gameplay areas as well.

The gameplay and story of Moons of Madness will pull you in and wrap some slimy tendrils around you. The console versions will of course include the Lovecraftian story element in a sci-fi setting, which follows a maintenance engineer in a Martian colony. The story is punctuated with a combination of theme-setting and flashbacks that help ground the player in the world of Mars. The gameplay is honed around a combination of puzzle-solving and a mix of stealth and exploration, with a lot of time spent either completing various tasks or avoiding deadly enemies.
