Monster Hunter: World sneaks in Assassin’s Creed Origins event
Monster Hunter World players are already really excited over the impending launch of new content to the game. What with Capcom recently announcing AT Kulve Taroth and the new Iceborne expansion, but these major new batches of content aren’t the only thing Monster Hunter fans have to look forward to.
Capcom recently released a patch for consoles, bringing them to version 5.21, and alongside this release, the company dropped in a new event quest themed after Assassin’s Creed Origins. This new quest called “SDF: Silent, Deadly, and Fierce” will run until January 10th, and is a Rank 8 quest involving having to take on a Deviljho, Odogaron and a Lunastra in an extreme gauntlet. Completing this quest will award pieces and Tickets to complete a new Layered Armor Set and Hunter Tool, among other rewards.
Monster Hunter World is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and PS4 and Xbox One players have access to this current new Assassin’s Creed event, while PC gamers don’t. If you want to see the full event schedule, head here for the console quests, and over here for the PC variants. Right now, aside from this new AC-themed outing, Kulve Taroth takes center stage. With the Arch-Tempered version appearing in the “The Fury of El Dorado” event quest on consoles.
