Monster Hunter World Iceborne getting dual monster event

Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang

Capcom has made a wonderful mess of things in Monster Hunter World, and I mean that in a good way. Aside from the horribly rocky PC launch, which has now been resolved, players are enjoying themselves. I even hopped back in for a while to get some hunting action in this week in fact.  A big part of how Capcom keeps people coming back is the in-game events that they rotate through every few weeks, offering hunters a chance at unique gear if they can take down powerful enemies. Iceborne, despite its early problems, is surprisingly fun and challenging. But with a new update coming soon, two new monsters are about to make things a lot messier in a bad way. Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang will be brought to the Hoarfrost Reach as part of the latest in-game event for Iceborne.

The event is spearheaded by two massive lads, Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang. Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang both have their own gimmicks within their own unique fights. And hunting these two will require some solid gear and serious skill. Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang are both representations of elemental fury.

As part of the third free title update to Iceborne, players can expect to have to take down two incredibly powerful foes. Furious Rajang is a very angry melee-focused monster who is just as likely to burn you as he is to pound you into the dirt with his massive claws. Raging Brachydios is a much more fiery opponent, as he spews lava to cook his enemies. In short, you don’t want to take either one of these boys on unprepared.

If you’re just getting into Iceborne, we have some helpful guides for you. We have a guide on picking the best armor sets for starting the much tougher Master Rank hunts. Also, if you’re looking for those pesky Hot Spring Stones, we have a guide on where to find Spring Stones.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’s update will arrive on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this March, with another update for PC owners bringing the new in-game event in April. After that, there will finally be feature parity as Capcom will start deploying new content to both segments of the Monster Hunter community at the same time.
