Monster Hunter World’s Day One Patch Adds Poogies and Other Features

The latest Capcom TV live stream had a guest appearance from Monster Hunter: World producer Ryozo Tsujimoto who shared info on a day-one patch for the game that will add Poogies and more.
Poogies are basically small pig-like pets that when carried will help players find treasure when out on hunts.
Other additions such as a Gallery Mode and online play are being included in these updates. In Gallery Mode, players can re-watch cut-scenes in case they want to relive the game’s story after the credits roll. Although it’s unknown how much these addons will balloon MHW’s file size. Here’s hoping that version 1.01 isn’t massive.

Monster Hunter World launches on January 26 for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release planned for later this year. The PC version will arrive this fall. Check out our previous report for a look at some gameplay in the Rotten Vale and Coral Highlands areas.
