Monster Hunter Rise 3.1 update adds new Event Quests

Is there multiplayer in Monster Hunter Rise?

Monster Hunter Rise 3.1 is here. The new patch brings in a ton of changes, and a welcome addition of new content is included. The patch is free for all, and your Switch console should start grabbing the update as soon as it’s live on Nintendo’s servers. The update packs a lot of meat on its bones, so get ready for some work if you want to know all about it.

The biggest change is that the Monster Hunter Rise 3.1 update will add new Event Quests. That’s not all though! Along with the free update, Monster Hunter Rise 3.1 will see the release of a new pack of DLC items for cosmetics. Monster Hunter Rise Pack 4 will be on the eShop for $24.99. The DLC includes a bunch of different items you can use to deck out both your characters and animal buddies. Here is everything that comes with the new DLC as listed on the Nintendo eShop:

That’s not all of course. The 3.1 patch also packs in a bunch of bug fixes. Different texture and coloring issues all across the game have been fixed. Some gameplay affecting bugs involving Rampage Quests and other issues have also been corrected. There’s seriously a huge number of fixes in the update for this Switch game.

The size of the update is 650 MB, and will add to the roughly 4 GB of install size for the base game. If you don’t want to download the patch, you can still play local multiplayer, but you can’t go online without patching things first. You can find all the listed bug fixes from the patch below, if you’re interested.
