Marvel’s Spider-Man releases new trailer for Turf Wars DLC

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars DLC Teaser

Sony and Insomniac Games just pumped out a new trailer for the second DLC pack for the excellent web-slinging game, Marvel’s Spider-Man.

This pack of DLC is split into multiple parts, with the first part following Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson and Felicia Hardy as they undertake an increasingly dangerous mission to fight the Mob in NYC. As Hammerhead takes control of the criminal underworld, things are going to get more dangerous all around the city for our heroes.

As Spidey battles his way through the Maggia goons, he’ll uncover betrayal, hidden treasures and lost of chaos as the story unfolds. Will Peter and MJ make it out the other end of this whole? Will the city survive? What is Hammerhead really after? You should go play Turf Wars to find out.

According to the official announcement, here’s a bit more about Hammerhead and his destructive ambitions:

Hammerhead — the organized crime boss known for his obsession with the mob’s glory years and a cranium surgically enhanced into a deadly weapon — has declared war against the other Dons of the Maggia, and are using equipment left by Sable International during its occupation of Marvel’s New York. Spider-Man and Yuri Watanabe will have to team up to put an end to the violence that has erupted in the streets of the city.

We see a bit more of this setup in the latest trailer for the DLC, which can be seen below. We see a bit of our heroes and villains in action, as well as some new costumes and abilities Peter gets to take advantage of.

Check out the trailer for the DLC pack down below. Spider-Man was released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in September, and has very quickly become a mega-hit for the console. The Turf Wars DLC pack is also available now and can be purchased individually or as part of the title’s The City That Never Sleeps pack.
