Mario Tennis Aces is getting a new athlete in October. Mario Tennis Aces launched for the Nintendo Switch on June 22, 2018.
And now, the game is getting a new character. Birdo, the pink bow wearing. She’s an all-round strong character, making her a good stop-gap in many matches. Birdo is being added to the game as part of a group of four characters, each with their own strengths. The three other new characters in addition to Birdo, along with their skillset, are as follows: Koopa Paratroopa (a technical type) Shy Guy (also technical) and Petey Piranha (powerful).
In addition to Birdo, the game also has Nintendo Switch Online service support now. So you can take part in the newest entry in the Mario sport series with up to four friends. The version 2 update which added this support also added a handful of fixes and other changes. Various characters like DK and Daisy got their abilities adjusted. You can find the full patch notes over on the Nintendo site.
