A new trailer has been released for the sequel to the popular MMO, Maplestory 2 is heading to the west after it’s original launch in South Korea in 2015.
A closed Beta begins for the new MMO on May 9th, for Players from the Americas, Europe, and Oceania. Check for details on the official site. Sign-ups for the Beta run until May 6th.
The new version will bring to international audiences a full 3d engine instead of the 2d visuals of the original Maplestory. Much of the setting is the same though as the game still resides in Maple World. There will also be a lot of customization options for characters and dwellings as well. Nexon plans to bring lots more content, classes and other additions to the international version over time.
