Maneater system requirements – minimum and recommended specs

Maneater, Tripwire’s shark RPG, arrives on PC on Friday, May 22. With it comes a new gameplay experience of hunting or being hunted by a massive shark. There’s even a campaign mode about something that feels ripped straight out of a bad B movie, a shark that killed your family. And while you’re not on a quest for revenge, you can take on the role of the shark itself and go hunting.

Although if you’re planning on buying into the game, you may want to check if you can run it. Developer Tripwire has released the Maneater system requirements, showing what kind of meat you need on your bones to take on this singleplayer RPG. Check down below to see if you can run this new game.

There’s no point in buying a game you can’t run. And with this open-world shark RPG, if that sounds interesting to you, you will want to be able to run it with all of the bells and whistles turned on.

Maneater debuts for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on May 22. A Switch port is expected later in 2020.

Maneater System Requirements – Minimum

It’s actually very easy to run this game. Any modern rig running Windows 10 should have no issue at least running the game on the minimum settings, assuming you’ve got 8 GB of RAM and a modern CPU/GPU under the hood. Even laptops of relatively recent make should be able to handle this game with some effects turned down.

Maneater System Requirements – Recommended

You’re going to need a bit of a beefier rig to put out the amount of chum you’re going to need to catch this monster on the highest settings. The best possible graphical effects will require a bit more than what’s listed below, but hitting this mark should guarantee a nice and smooth trip into the deep blue sea. Of course there’s that giant shark to worry about.

For any modern budget gamer even, this title is very easy to run. The CPU requirements should be no issue for a decent rig in even the low-end of specs by modern standards.
