Kingdom Hearts 3 Could Be Coming to PC

Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind

Kingdom Hearts 3 is a JRPG for the purist fans and the casual players alike. Since the release of the original game in 2002, the franchise has grown to insane heights of popularity. and the Disney and Final Fantasy crossover has only gotten better with time. The latest mainline game, Kingdom Hearts 3, increased the scale of the already massive universe by adding new zones and characters. The story of Sora may be wrapping up, but that doesn’t mean things will be easy.

The console versions of Kingdom Hearts 3 made gangbusters when first released, but the PC gaming crowd was left out in the cold when it comes to taking part in the story of Sora and his pals. But it looks like that might change. the new ReMind DLC, set to launch in 2020, may see the JRPG ported to the PC for the firs time. That’s because he listing for the DLC indicates more than just new content is arriving.

The listing on the Microsoft Store says, “Get this app while signed in to your Microsoft account and install on your Windows 10 devices.” That led many to believe that the DLC could be the vanguard for a PC port of the main game. It’s possible that this is just a mistake and the game is still only available on PS4 and Xbox One, but PC gamers are hopeful. One rumor floating around is that the game will compatibility with Game Pass Ultimate as part of the PC release as well, although this is currently unconfirmed.

Fans and gamers have seen a ton of delayed console to PC ports over the years. Red Dead Redemption 2 was just one such example. Although I would be willing to bet Square Enix would want to avoid the launch headaches that particular PC port had. So we will just have to wait and see what this whole thing turns into.
