Kill la Kill the Game: IF is headed to PC in 2019

Kill La Kill The Game IF

At Anime Expo 2018 in Los Angeles Arc System Works revealed a new game set in the Kill la Kill anime franchise. The original story is being written by the Kill la Kill scriptwriter Kazuki Nakashima, so that means it’s being made to feel like just another episode of the anime, fans should be excited about that at least.

The full title is Kill la Kill The Game: IF, and it will come to PS4 and PC in 2019.

The game will have both a singleplayer and multiplayer mode. Judging from what we’ve seen so far, the fighting mechanics may be similar to Bandai Namco’s Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series. The game will hopefully feature heavily in the competitive side of the FGC (Fighting Game Community). Speaking of the FGC, Kill la Kill The Game: IF will be playable on the floor at EVO 2018.

Kill la Kill the Game: IF is being developed by Japanese studio APlus. it’s the same team which worked on the other recent game related to studio Trigger’s anime, Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time.
