New Just Cause 4 trailer highlights The Black Hand, Rico’s vicious enemies

Just Cause 4 SPOTLIGHT: The Black Hand

Square Enix and Avalanche Studios just put out yet another gameplay trailer for Just Cause 4.

For the unaware, the destructive Black Hand is an evil organization headed by the dangerous Gabriela Morales, who was the focus of another gameplay trailer for the game, but I digress.Did I mention she’s really mean and wants to eviscerate Rico?

Point is, the Black Hand aren’t messing around. This criminal group has a stranglehold on the land of Solis, and they are not letting go without a fight. Black Hand troopers of various types exist to stand in Rico’s way, or more accurately be blown to pieces. There’s the typical assault and shock troopers that you can mow down in droves, but these cannon fodder are backed up by much more dangerous specialist units. There’s a stealth-oriented Ghost which can turn invisible, the Titan, which is all about heavily-armored destruction, and the RPG specialist which loves to make things go boom. All of these units and more have some extremely advanced technology backing them up, even advanced enough to control the weather.

If you want to check out more gameplay for Just Cause 4, there’s tons of other gameplay footage and peeks behind-the-scenes for the game. There’s even an awesome trailer that shows tornadoes ripping the landscape apart. You should also look into the biomes that separate the land of Solis into distinct parts. It’s all pretty cool, even if you’re not a fan of the series.

Just Cause 4 will release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on December 4, and can currently be pre-ordered on Amazon.
