Jurassic World Evolution is getting a new DLC option for players to tinker with this month. The new DLC, called Claire’s Sanctuary, offers new gameplay variants and progression options all built around a central story. Said story will be a standalone campaign which bolts onto the existing gameplay elements from the base game and other DLC.
The gameplay for this new update will see the player having to mop up after the disastrous events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, where natural disasters threaten the dino-laden island of Isla Nublar. Claire’s Sanctuary will use new threats like volcanic eruptions and other problems that you have to save your scaly creations from. The crux of this appears to be moving the dinos to the new Sanctuary Island locale.
The other aspects of this release see the addition of new characters which bring new missions to undertake. Frontier Developments will take this DLC to dangerous new heights, are you ready? Check out the trailer for the new DLC down below.
And even if you don’t purchase the new DLC, Frontier Developments has unveiled plans to launch a free update for the game. Said free update includes new creative tools with which to style your park. A balance pass, coinciding with some other new content, will change the way in-game mechanics like the Gyrosphere work.
The new Claire’s Sanctuary DLC will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from June 18.
