June’s PlayStation Plus games have been revealed

Sony has announced June’s PlayStation Plus games: 2018’s God of WarNaruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. This is a pretty eclectic mix, but well worth the wait. And if you haven’t played the headline game yet, now is the perfect time. June’s PlayStation Plus titles have been revealed, showing off more free stuff from Sony for June in 2022.

Subscribers will be able to claim May’s games—FIFA 22Tribes of Midgard, and Curse of the Dead Gods—until June 6th. After that point, things will shift over to this month. And then you have until early next month to grab them. Until then, make sure to play the games even if you don’t plan to finish them. Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of free gaming?

God of War’s 2018 redo is the headline this month, bringing the story of Atreus and Kratos to millions more gamers. That story is a wonder to behold, and fans loved it when it debuted. If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to return to Kratos’ story, now is the time.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker offers anime fun to those that want it. With a gameplay loop that fuses fighting games and fun, there’s a lot for fans of the iconic anime to like. The real draw isn’t in the story, though, it’s in the ability to craft your own ninja. Train and learn powerful jutsu at the feet of iconic masters from the IP, and then take your skills online to prove who the master shinobi really is.

This all comes after the planned reshuffling of PlayStation premium services last month. The debut of the new tiered pricing system saw gamers getting access to three levels of services—Essential, Extra and Premium. And all of that was bundled with PlayStation Now. This was a move people had expected of the Japanese company for years, and it finally happened. Sony has been slowly rolling these changes out, and the next few weeks will see even more gamers getting access across the globe. In a post on PlayStation Blog, Sony said:

“The rollout of the all-new PlayStation Plus is well underway, with Asia’s launch last week and Japan launching starting today! Additional markets will launch this month, and we can’t wait for fans to enjoy the new service.”
