Jump Force content roadmap outlined, shows first DLC character, Seto Kaiba

Bandai Namco has finally revealed the first details for post-launch content for their new fighting game, Jump Force. As a part of this 2019 plan, the company also released a full roadmap for the game over the course of the next year. The plan kicks off in April, and then runs through August 2019, although the company plans to bring more content in 2020, with no details though, we’re stuck with speculation and hype for now.

In May, Jump Force is getting it’s first paid bit of DLC. In this case, the first DLC character is coming to the anime crossover title. That new characters is Seto Kaiba of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series. A free content drop will also arrive in May which brings more in-game events and free updates to the game. Along the way, Bandai Namco will be pushing out patches for the game as well. And much like his in-universe rival Yugi Moto, Seto will attack using Duel Monsters cards, so fans are excited to see Blue-Eyes White Dragon in action.

More free avatar costumes will arrive in June and July alongside arena and tournament events. More free avatars, some new stages and even more costumes will drop each month across the roadmap.

The final major update announced so far is the second paid DLC. This time it will be a pack of three new characters.

Jump Force is available now on a variety of platforms including PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. No exact release dates or prices for any of this planned DLC have been announced so far. We’ll keep you posted when we learn more.
