Bandai Namco has released some new details about a couple of characters it teased earlier in the week. These two newly confirmed additions to the roster for Jump Force are from a property fans have been wanting to see in the game since it was announced. These two newly announced entrants into Jump Force are of course Dio and Jotaro Kujo from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
For the fans, Bandai Namco has revealed a bit more about which versions of the characters will be in the game, as well as what powers and moves they’ll possess. The two will be using their respective Stands The World and Star Platinum in battle. The character likenesses will be pulled from the JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure Stardust Crusaders line.
These two were teased earlier in the week during a livestream in which the games multiplayer aspects were shown off. And you can check out a trove of screenshots showing them in action down below.
And the really cool thing about all these announcements is that these newly announced additions probably aren’t the last ones. Fans are still amped up about the potential for other anime and manga franchises to get a spot on the roster. And for those counting, these two new fighters push the roster to 40 total characters. What do you think could also be announced? Tell us your predictions in the comments.
In the meantime, why not take a look back at the rest of the announcements for Jump Force. There was a recent batch of screenshots hyping up various additions from the Naruto universe. There was also a trailer showing some of them in action. You could also take a look at some gameplay footage showing off the deep character creator. There’s also a trailer detailing the story in the game.
If you want to see some more characters in action, there’s plenty to gawk at in other trailers. During TGS 2018, characters from Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter X Hunter were revealed. Yugi Moto from Yu-Gi-Oh! was another addition to be unveiled after that. Another recent character source was the Rurouni Kenshin property. And that’s just the beginning.
Look above at the newly released screenshots showing Dio and Jotaro Kujo from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in action. Jump Force will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15. If you’d like to pre-order the game, and snag yourself some nice bonuses, you can do so right now on Amazon.
