The Community Day Classic event in Pokémon Go will go ahead in a bit of a different form this month, During the event, Bulbasaur will appear far more often in the wild, allowing Trainers to capture plenty of them. Here’s what we know about the rest of the event so far.
Players get a chance to capture Bulbasaur and take them for a spin. Capture a bunch of them to get plenty of Candies, and use that to evolve it into Venusaur. Any Venusaur made during the event will automatically learn the powerful Grass charged attack Frenzy Plant. And this is all in one day, during a very short window, so you need to be ready.
When is the January 2022 Community Day Classic in Pokémon Go?
The event will always run from 2pm to 5pm local time. Local time means that this schedule does not adjust for time zones—no matter where you are in the world, it will always be hosted from 2pm to 5pm on Jan. 22. So you better be ready.
It’s important to note that the January 2022 Community Day Classic event is separate from the standard January 2022 Community Day.
