Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy Collectors Editions announced for PS4

Jak and Daxter are back baby! Sony and Naughty Dog have teamed up to produce a re-release of the legendary platformer from back in the days of the PS2. These folks are teaming up with Limited Run Games to bring the franchise back after 17 years as a physical release.

And not happy with just releasing the games again on a new platform, these folks took it a step further. The partnership will also produce a really snazy collector’s edition of the game that comes with a ton of bonuses which fans will love.

Now what’s actually inside this bad boy? The collector’s edition includes a copy of the game, foil-stamped rigid collector’s edition box, official soundtrack which will include previously unreleased demos and recordings, an 18×24-inch poster, “A Deep Dive into Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy” design archive, 16GB USB drive, foil trading card set, and three-inch metal Precursor Orb.

Yuo need to hurry though, as only 5,000 copies for the standard edition and 2,500 collector’s editions will be available. Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy can be ordered on disc for $24.99 and the collector’s edition will cost you $74.99
