Is There New Game+ in Horizon Forbidden West?

Horizon Forbidden West is here, and Sony fans are exploring the massive world. The story of Aloy has already found a ton of bunch of cool stuff. But to find it, you have to do the exploration. The game’s fast travel option certainly makes completing the game easier, so learning about that’s a good idea. There are many other mechanics you will want to familiarize yourself with.  Aloy has a lot to do, and this game has a pretty massive open world.

The game has a lot of content all around, including an expansive main story and many interesting side quests. Players looking to 100% complete the game will have a lot of quests to knock out. But at some point, you will complete the game. If there’s a desire to play more, you might have some options. One of the common ways developers keep people engaged after they complete their first run, is a New Game+ mode. This resets your game progress to the start of the story, but with some alterations. The players keep their gear and levels, but now face much tougher enemies.

The original Horizon Zero Dawn also launched with no New Game Plus mode. And the same is true for the sequel at this time. However, players have some possible redemption. There was a patch that deployed after launch which added New Game+. Players might be waiting for some time though, as that patch took a few months to come out. If the devs are planning to do the same thing this time, it could be weeks until we see New Game+ in Horizon Forbidden West.

Players requested the feature pretty heavily, so it’s likely that happens again this time. We will have to bide our time and wait.

Those looking to bide their time until that happens have some options. With 50 levels to earn, the player has a lot to do. There are also Tailnecks to hunt, Relic Ruins to explore and so much more. You can even hit up rebel camps to try and claim them from the bandits. Get out there and explore to see what you can find. There’s more to find while exploring the game as well, that way you can wait until the inevitable patch comes out. Photo mode can unleash that creativity. In all, there’s no shortage of things to find and conquer.
