How to use Photomode in Cyberpunk 2077

Photomode in Cyberpunk 2077 is something that players will get plenty of use out of, whether it be for memes or other purposes. So if you’re confused about what the mode can do, that’s where this guide comes in. We’re going to talk you through all the different options and what they can do to your screenshots. So let’s get started.

As a side note, you can hide the HUD to take screencaps,  check your control settings for the key. When you take a screenshot You can open Photomode in Cyberpunk 2077 by pressing the key set to it in your platform’s settings. By default, this is “N” on PC. Consoles can open the mode by clicking in both analog sticks simultaneously.

Once you’re inside Photomode it’s time to alter things. Within Photomode, you can alter the picture you just snapped with various options.

  • Effects: Use these options to change color contrast, add new filters, create color changing effects and more for your new photos. This is where most of the image alterations are located.
  • Depth of Field: As the name suggests, you can alter depth of field settings for an image here. If you want to focus on a particular part for some reason, you can do that here as well.
  • Camera: This option allows you to change the camera angle of the shot between various preset options. You can also alter the zoom here and change the way the image is presented by changing the field of view or angle of the camera.
  • Pose: You can alter the pose of any models in the scene with this option. From multiple categories, you can compose action or humorous poses that give you plenty of options to set different scenes.
  • Stickers:  You can use various logos and other visual elements to create stickers that can then be placed on top of your new image.
  • Save/load: This is your savestate for the photo you’re editing. You can reset changes and save them here.

Once you’re inside the Photomode menu, you can alter various elements of your new screenshots. Far beyond just changing colors, or adding logos, things can be tweaked to effectively create a brand new photo. When you’re done editing them, you can do what you want with them. You can find your saved and edited photos in the game’s files in case you want to upload them somewhere. On the PC, this is “\Users\’Your PC Name’\Pictures\Cyberpunk 2077
