Photo modes were added to many games over the years. They’ve become a lot more common as time has gone on. You can usually take photos of your character in different poses, and with various filters. This mode is pretty much like that. Like most other Photo Modes, you can get action shots of Aloy in combat, as well as many other things. The UI on the Photo Mode will allow you to toggle different filters and effects. You can add lighting changes that make it much more unique for each photo.

To access Horizon Forbidden West’s photo mode, you simply need to start by opening the Options menu by pressing the Start button. There will be various options, such as saving and loading your game. Within the same menu, you will see the option for Photo Mode. Selecting that will bring up the variety of things that you can tweak. You can also swap outfits to get different kinds of shots as well.

You can use the L1 and R1 buttons to swap between different menus. On these menus you will see various options for poses and filters you can use. Then there’s camera positioning. By pressing R2 and L2, you can move the camera up and down, and the left stick to move the camera along a horizontal plane.
