Hidden Aspects in Hades are special unlocks that involve blood sacrifice and the gods, pretty fitting for this game I say. You will need to fully complete the game and defeat Hades once to unlock the feature though. Each of the unlocks applies to a specific weapon type, and can only be unlocked from a certain god. You get the first one for free though. Refer to the rest of the guide to learn how to unlock more.
The first of the Aspects is unlocked by playing through the game. After you beat Hades and return to the House, go talk to Achilles; he will lay out a very strange process for you to unlock new powers. This is what you’re after, and it will set you on the path to more Hidden Aspects in Hades.
How to Unlock Hidden Aspects in Hades
For example, in order to unlock the Hidden Aspect for a certain item, you need to trigger the right dialogue phrase with a specific NPC while holding that item. Each of the Hidden Aspects in Hades has a specific trigger and item it is associated with. Each Hidden Aspect costs five Titan Blood to unlock, so you need to invest that much in the requisite gear item before talking to the god that grants the boon.
Aspect of Guan Yu
You can unlock this boon for the Eternal Spear and it is unlocked by speaking to Achilles. You will need to collect the Titan’s Blood and then trigger dialogue with Achilles to get the reward. Make sure you have beaten the game and defeated Hades at least once for the dialogue to trigger.
Triggered by the dialogue option: “I see you through the eyes of the crimson phoenix.”
Aspect of Arthur
You must invest the five Titan’s Blood into Swords to get this buff for the Stygian Blade. You must first unlock the Aspect of Guan Yu, then invest the Blood into Swords, and now you can go seek out Nyx to unlock it. Once you unlock these steps, you can find Nyz in Skelly’s room.
Triggered by the dialogue option: “I see your kingly pardon from a prison of stone.”
Aspect of Rama
This Aspect is for the Heart-Seeking Bow, Set aside the Blood for Bows and then go find Artemis. Artemis is not located in the House of Hades; rather he is found randomly throughout the levels of the wider game.
Triggered by the dialogue option: “I see you drawn in the arms of the seventh avatar.”
Aspect of Gilgamesh
This Aspect is for the Twin Fists of Malphon. Invest the needed currency into Fists, then talk to Asterius when the god is by themselves. They must be alone to get the boon and proper dialogue. Asterius is a mini-boss encounter denoted by a skull icon on the chamber rewards in Elysium. You may not have to fight him though, the RNG seems a bit screwy here.
Triggered by the dialogue option: “I see you overcome the wild and make peace with death.”
Aspect of Lucifer
This Aspect is for the Adamant Rail. invest the Titan’s Blood into Guns, then find Zeus. Finding Zeus is random though, and not guaranteed for each run. When you do, equip the Shield of Chaos and trigger the dialogue to get the boon.
Triggered by the dialogue option: “I see your prideful fall down from the heavens to the flames.”
Aspect of Beowulf
Invest five Titan’s Blood into Shields, then talk to Chaos to unlock this Aspect. Finding Chaos is random though, and not guaranteed for each run. When you do, equip the Shield of Chaos and trigger the dialogue to get the boon.
Triggered by the dialogue option: “I see you stand your ground against the serpent’s flame.”
