There are a multitude of decorative items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. With all of the different furniture items, decorative household widgets and beautiful outdoor scenes in the Switch title, it’s the dream game for a sociable and creative type. You can create pretty much anything you can dream up, funny, cute or otherwise.
Another big part of the game is building houses for all of your new neighbors, and there are going to be a fair few of them. When Tom Nook asks you to help him build houses for all of these new neighbors, and you’re free to customize the internal and external looks of these houses when you like. Populate them with a huge variety of furniture or art, whatever tickles your fancy. One thing you can do is build fences in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to beautify the landscape.
When you unlock the Museum and get the first three residents to your new town, Tom Nook will ask you to gather the wood and other resources to build some basic housing for your new friends. Tom Nook will even give you 50 fences in Animal Crossing: New Horizons when you complete these tasks.
Like all things in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can always build more at the Workbench once you have the DIY Recipe unlocked. Head to the kiosk at Resident Services to buy these once you complete the steps above. Once you have them built and in your inventory, use the “Build” command within the inventory menu to place them down wherever you like.
