We’re into the second week of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, and things are getting a bit weird. This second week has begun, and brought new Epic challenges to complete. These are a more basic mix of quests this week, but some of them can be pretty hard to find. And since everyone is rushing to complete them, there can be some stiff competition to find them.
We’re back on a Tuesday release schedule for new challenges in Season 6, and that means you’re going to want to rush out and complete them ASAP. There’s a challenge to hunt down and tame a boar this week. Here’s how to tame a boar in Fortnite, as well as the best place to find them out in the game map. Here’s what you need to do for this one challenge.
How to Tame a Boar in Fortnite & Location
To find the boars, this is one of the harder parts of the challenge, but we’ve got you covered, so here’s where to go. Make your way to Colossal Crops, a new named location on the map that has replaced Colossal Coliseum. Once there, you can head over and look for the boars nearby to the main POI. All you have to do is interact with it to tame it, but here’s a tip.
When you try to approach, the boar may run away, so what you want to do is some crafting to help you out.
Having Hunter’s Cloak is a huge help for this. When you find the boar, you need to sneak up on it, and the cloak makes that so much easier. So go and craft one first to handle this quickly. Once you have it crafted, use it in your toolbar to equip it. The cloak requires 2 bones and one piece of meat. Just take out one boar for the crafting materials, make the cloak, and then tame another. Once you have found a boar and tamed it, you can complete the challenge and move on.
