How to start the Wrath of the Druids Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mythical Beasts Trailer

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has a new DLC this week. With the launch of the first major expansion for the game, players can hop back into the fun. But with DLC like this, sometimes players get confused about how to begin. It’s pretty easy to get into the new content. Here’s how to start the Wrath of the Druids Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC

The Wrath of the Druids is the first major DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Being a paid DLC pack, you have to buy in. You can get it as part of the first Season Pass. If you enjoyed the base game, you might want to consider buying in. The game remains a ton of fun and this new DLC adds some challenging new areas to conquer. And best of all, we get an entirely new map to explore. Wrath of the Druids takes place in a new location, Ireland.

So if you want to head into Ireland, here’s what you need to do.

Obviously, start with purchasing the Wrath of the Druids DLC. Once it’s installed you will need to head over to your main settlement, Ravensthorpe. This means you can start the DLC pretty much as soon as you begin the main game. You do not need to complete the main story in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. When you get to the settlement, you will see a new Irish Trade quest that begins with a new NPC showing up at the docks.

The new NPC, a trader named Azar, is in town to ask for your help. They have been trapped here thanks to a blockade. You need to help them out and open up a new trade route. This means you’re going to head back to Ireland to start a new adventure.
