Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has a large number of hidden puzzles and secrets to find. There are plenty of platforming puzzles to be solved, but Ubisoft has also put in some other kinds of riddles and tricks. There are visual puzzles like the Stonehenge Standing Stones puzzle. Here’s how to solve this riddle for the sake of some rewards. For completing this puzzle you get a bundle of XP for leveling up, and a new entry in the Hamtunscire Mysteries. If you’re going for 100% completion, this is a puzzle you must complete.
First things first, you need to actually find the Stonehenge Standing Stones in the game world. They are located at a set spawn in Hamtunscire, England. Head directly north of the Wincestre area in Hamtunscire to find them quickly. Look right alongside the coast heading north in the area. Alternatively, you can just use the image below to know where to look.
Once there you will find two circles of stones with some sort of glowing runes inscribed on them. There’s a smaller stone in the middle of the formation with a rune on it as well. Interact with that to trigger the puzzle. Brendan of Clonfert will visit in a short scene that asks you to solve the challenge. Lucky for you it’s really simple to get this one right.
To solve the Stonehenge stones puzzle face the larger stones with the symbols painted on them and turn to face the northeastern direction. Move toward the stones so that the second pillar from the left of the stone formation in the background is directly in-line with your character. It’s finicky but doable, get that positioning right, then you will want to turn and adjust Elvior so that the painting on that same background rock bridges the gap between the formation in the front. Once the effigy on the front formation is complete, the puzzle should properly complete and you will be able to move on.
