You won’t always come out of the combat in Chivalry 2 at 100% health. Sometimes, you need to heal your injuries. And being aware of the methods to top up your health can keep you in the fight longer. There are healing abilities that can be used, like bandages. These are key to keeping yourself in the game. The best way to restock bandages in Chivalry 2 is to look out for ammo and healing crates throughout the game’s maps. Here are the ways to heal and restock your healing items.
Bandages can be found on the battlefield in Chivalry 2 in one of two ways. The player-based method is to use a special ability that Footman classes have to deploy healing boxes. These popup structures take time to deploy, so you need to keep enemies off their backs while they do it. These classes have innate healing abilities, and they’re very useful. You can use healing chests, you get healed, and also get a reserve of healing items and other useful stuff. For that reason, these will often be a good place to stop when around your squad.
Footman won’t always be available, but they’re very important. If you do have a Footman on your squad, you can rely on them for their unique healing abilities to a point. It’s a good idea to still have some backup bandages though. That’s where the static ammo chests come in. These chests are at static locations around the map, usually situated so each team has some. Look around the capture nodes for ammo chests. These will refill your ammo, as well as restock bandages in Chivalry 2.
So when you see the ammo chests, stock up during any lulls in the fighting. Also, if you want to be a good teammate, learn how to help out your healers and other support when recharging special abilities. When you’re playing these classes, it’s great to have a team that’s aware of what you need to do to keep yourself in the battle.
So be a good warrior and get out there and fight your hardest.
