Bandages can be found on the battlefield in Chivalry 2 in one of two ways. The player-based method is to use a special ability that Footman classes have to deploy healing boxes. These popup structures take time to deploy, so you need to keep enemies off their backs while they do it. These classes have innate healing abilities, and they’re very useful. You can use healing chests, you get healed, and also get a reserve of healing items and other useful stuff. For that reason, these will often be a good place to stop when around your squad.
Footman won’t always be available, but they’re very important. If you do have a Footman on your squad, you can rely on them for their unique healing abilities to a point.
