How to make your own kingdom in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord

How to sell prisoners in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord

The Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord campaign centers around founding your own kingdom from the ashes of your fallen Clan, and you can do this in the very first days of your journey. The process for founding your own kingdom in the game is just one pathway of playing the game. You can also take on the life of a trader or mercenary for hire, working within the existing factions.

Start by completing quests, as you will need to complete the Neretze’s Folly quest. This is the quest that asks you to hunt down 10 Nobles, and this will start you on the path to founding your own kingdom in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord. After you have done that, it’s time to start building your Clan Tier and raising your Renown.

As you have progressed through this quest, you will find the three bits of the Dragon Banner. Giving this banner to either Istiana or Arzagos after you have spoken to the 10 nobles. Use this time traveling around to learn the lay of the land, and look for a village you might want to take control of.

Once you get to Clan Tier 3, you have a few more steps to take to found your kingdom. Along the way of getting to this level, you should be constantly grinding for gold, troops, and renown. Once you have 100 troops in your army, the second step is complete.

The final step to creating your own kingdom in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord is to have a village. If you have a large amount of Denar and food, you can completely found your own village, although it takes a long time to build a settlement, as well as the population you need to support it. Even if you’re just taking a village over, assuming you end up in a war with a larger kingdom, you’re going to need a fair amount of military power. Taking on larger kingdoms can be both a military and economic war, as depriving an enemy of resources and food can cripple them.

So what path you take will depend on how willing you are to commit to a certain play style.
