Tanks in Far Cry 6 are pretty lethal, as these rolling gun platforms can wipe out anything in their path. Tanks and helicopters in Far Cry 6 are some of the most difficult enemies to take down, and will likely take you out more than once. Knowing how to take them down is important. So here’s a way to get rid of them by getting to hijack tanks in Far Cry 6.
So let’s talk about where you can find them. The Tank Depot in Vencejo on Isla Santuario is the best place to get these tanks. FND bases and Training Grounds will also have them. You can also get them from armored units that show up in some missions.
If you don’t want to have to blow them up, there’s a way to get around that. You can actually hijack tanks in Far Cry 6. This is great if you want to get a tank to blow some stuff up with, you need to jack one. You can find some unoccupied tanks around the map. Tank Depots and other bases are good for this. You can sneak in, take out the guards, and then grab and tank and run. To get the Not So Tough trophy/achievement you need to hijack an occupied tank, here’s how.
To get this done you need to go find and upgrade the Supremo. You can also use some EMP grenades if you want.
You will want both the Supremo and an EMP weapon to get this done. The Supremo has great mobility, and unlocks some special EMP items you can use. Sneak up on the rear of a tank and hit it with an EMP. This will open a window of a few seconds where you can jump on and hijack the tank. Jump on and press the on-screen button prompt to hijack it while it’s disabled. So that’s how you get to hijack tanks in Far Cry 6.
Medicine is another good thing to hunt down if you’re upgrading your base.. You will need it to expand your base. It’s also much easier to find out in the world. You might also want to go hunting Durable Plastic from enemy vehicles. To get plenty of camp resources and other upgrades, you might want to gather up some Yaran Pesos.
Far Cry 6 is available now on Playstation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
