With all of the fighting you will be doing in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, there’s going to be a lot of bleeding to be done as well. With some pretty rudimentary medical advancements in the timeframe of the game, and all the armies dotted around the map, casualties are inevitable. And you definitely don’t want to be rushing from fight to fight with no downtime. You can easily be killed or captured if you rush into a fight with less than solid health and gear.
So that leaves a single question How do you heal in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord? The process is very simple at its base. You will passively heal as you move around the map, but it takes a long time. The passive healing will regenerate your health over time, although there is a safer option. If you take your army to camp in a town or village. Once there, select the “Pass the Time” option to let your army rest and regain some strength. Before you do this though, make sure you have the food and Denar to handle a few weeks of downtime, as you don’t want mass desertions while waiting for your health to recover.

If you want to increase your rate of healing further, you will need to invest some skill points in Intelligence. This will also impart a boost to your Medicine ratings. Having higher Medicine skill means you gain health at a faster rate, but it also reduces the number of dead from battles, as well as downgrading the severity of injuries.
