There’s a lot of backtracking and in-world puzzle-solving in Resident Evil games, and Resident Evil 3 Remake is no different. With this game, some of the puzzles from the original version have returned in some form, but most of the content has changed pretty dramatically. The layout of the city has changed a bit, and there are a bunch more enemies in the game that are much more dangerous. To deal with these new threats, you’re going to want to get the Shotgun in Resident Evil 3 Remake.
To get at the Shotgun in Resident Evil 3 Remake, you will first need to claim the Bolt Cutters. To get there you first need to put out the alleyway downtown that’s very much on fire. That involves a trek that takes you further downtown, through the Moon Donut shop, and into the Railyway office. Within the office is the fire hose you need to put out the alleyway fire.
Once you have the fire put out, grab the bolt cutters off the wall of the safe room, then make your way back to the offices at Kite Bros Railway. Zombie spawn locations will likely change at this point, so be on point with fighting them off. The shotgun will be in the back of the railway offices right next to where the fire hose was located. Cut the chains off the locked box, and grab the weapon.
