The newest patch for Digital Extremes’ online space-ninja-them-up is Warframe 27.5.4. The new hotfix brought in a few changes to existing systems, as one would expect from a patch. But the really interesting part is in what Warframe 27.5.4 added into the game. New Augments means new build possibilities for your favorite Warframes. These powerful ability boosters offer specific buffs to the Warframe for which they are made. And many of them can be build-defining.
Update 27.5.4 introduced four new Augments, one each for Atlas, Nidus, Valkyr and Saryn. In this latest guide for Warframe, we explain how to unlock these powerful new mods. You will need to do some farming though, as these Augments involve the Syndicates. Syndicates in Warframe are unique in-game factions that offer special missions, to put it simply. These new Augments join the other rewards offered from a few different factions.
Here are the rundowns for each of the four new items in Warframe 27.5.4:
Atlas – Passive – Rubble Heap
When above 1400 Rubble, Landslide costs no Energy, deals 2x Damage, and travels 2x faster.
This Augment gives Atlas more of an energy pool to work with, also while making his abilities more efficient.
Rubble Heap can be gotten from Red Veil (Exalted rank) and Steel Meridian (General rank) for 25000 Standing.
Nidus – Passive – Abundant Mutation
Nidus gains an additional 200 max stacks of Mutation. Undying has a 30s cooldown.
The goal here is to give Nidus a huge defensive buff. Mutation Stacks can be used in place of energy for some abilities this allows Mutation to fuel boosts to Nidus’ abilities that can make him very strong.
Abundant Mutation can be gotten from Steel Meridian (General rank) for 25000 Standing.
Valkyr – Hysteria – Enraged
Damage increased by 200 percent, Critical Chance increased by 200 percent. Hysteria lasts for 15 seconds and receives a matching cooldown.
Valkyr gains a major buff with this Augment. Stacking generation of DPS increases with this Augment gets Valkyr some nice burst damage against bosses.
Enraged can be gotten from New Loka (Flawless rank) and Perrin Sequence (Partner rank) for 25000 Standing.
Saryn – Spore – Revealing Spores
Infected enemies within 40m will show up on the Minimap.
This is an excellent choice for farmers, especially since Saryn Prime remains one of the stronger choices for solo farming in the game.
Revealing Spores can be gotten from Red Veil (Exalted rank) and Steel Meridian (General rank) for 25000 Standing.
