Farming for Gridskipper is very easy to do once you know where to look. Since it’s a seasonal drop, you need to aim for activities that deal with the Splicer theme. That means things like eh Override activity are a great source of rolls. During this activity and playing the game, you will earn Splicer Reputation packs, these often drop the Gridskipper. You can also get them via Umbral Engrams and the Weekly Challenges.
Splicer Vandal’s Armory Engrams and the basic Splicer Armory Engrams appear to be the best. You need to focus your Umbral Engrams with Decrypted Data to boost your odds. Corkscrew Rifling is arguably the best choice here for PvE if you need the accuracy at range. Hammer-Forged Rifling is a lesser choice if you can’t get the best one. Fluted Barrel is also an acceptable choice in this slot. Armor-Piercing Rounds is by far the best choice for PvP and PvE with this gun. Ricochet Rounds might help for clear of small mob packs, but only really works in small areas.
The first perk is a bit open in terms of choice. There’s no real killer choice here. Heating Up or Moving Target can be picked here, but frankly, this is a really open choice. Frenzy or Multi-Killclip are the best primary perk options on this weapon for PvE play. You get great DPS boosts for these perks as long as you can keep alive. As long as you have a good team, you should be doing plenty of damage.

If you can’t get that, try to get something like Flared Magwell or High-Caliber Rounds.
For other perks, you only really have a couple of viable options.
The choice between Tunnel Vision or Killing Wind comes down to your playstyle. Most players will opt for the reload and ADS speed after getting a single kill. Killing Wind is a bit better if you’re good enough to string kills together. Frenzy is the best PvP roll, at least for Gridskipper in Destiny 2. Since you will be fighting a lot, it’s the best perk.
