Borderlands 3‘s new DLC Guns, Love, and Tentacles has players dropped into a brand new planet, ready for action, and there’s even wedding going on. Hammerlock and Wainwright have decided to tie the knot, and you’ve been cordially invited to the festivities. But, of course, their wedding is a bit more chaotic than your standard marital celebration.
The Cure Shotgun is a very rare weapon, with a really interesting effect. The weapon utilizes its critical hits to create multiple ricocheting projectiles that can rip through entire groups of enemies in a single blast.
At least you get some cool loot out of taking part though, like the Cure Shotgun. Getting it is actually pretty easy. All you need to do is progress through the story of the DLC. During the quest The Case of Wainwright Jakobs, you will be tasked with finding and disrupting a strange ritual being undertaken by evil forces.
The ritual centers on a horrifying and eldritch-level horror that is somehow bound to this creepy ring. This is the same ring that’s slowly corrupting Wainwright, so he wants to prevent things from going really wrong if he loses his mind. Wainwright will give you their trusty weapon, the Cure Shotgun, for safekeeping as the quest progresses. You can then add this nice little piece of ordinance to your ever-growing arsenal. From there, you can freely use it as one of your trusty weapons.
