How to get the Chinese Stealth Armor in Fallout 76

How to get leather in Fallout 76 Wastelanders

The Chinese Stealth Armor is one of many new additions to Fallout 76 with the new Wastelanders expansion. The new armor set offers some unique bonuses and adds a bit of lore-based flair as well. The armor offers a bit of active camouflage that allows the player to blend in with their surroundings, making stealthy approaches a bit easier. Getting the armor, is not so easy though.

First off, make sure you head to Foundation and choose to do certain missions for the Settlers first. Working with the Raiders will lock you out of progressing past a certain point with this quest chain, so it’s advised to get the schematic for the new armor before working with the Raiders.

The first quest you get from them is Trade Secrets. It’s not hard to complete or anything, it just takes a while as you have to do some traveling to complete it. This will lead into the Invisible Ties side quest. This next quest is the one that leads directly to the Chinese Stealth Armor in Fallout 76. Completing it will reward you with the armor, but there’s some work involved.

During the quest chain, you will be sent to get a Liberator from outside Vault 76, then bring it back to Jen at Foundation. Jen fixes up the Liberator, and sends you on your way to your next destination. This will lead you to the Whitesprings Golf Course where the Liberator will guide you through some combat encounter. After this comes the final phase of the mission.

Your goal is a hidden base called the Deep. Once there, you meet up with Agent Mochou in the basement of the facility, who is wearing pieces of the Stealth Armor. The schematics for the Chinese Stealth Armor will be obtained once you speak to the agent then return to Paige at the Foundation base.

The Chinese Stealth Armor in Fallout 76 will also take some extra time to make as you need various materials and you need to invest the research time into it.

The materials included will be listed in the armor bench once you have read the plans, so you will need to bring plenty of Ballistic Fiber, Circuitry, Rubber, Nuclear Material and Fiber Optics for the base armor. The helmet requires all the same with the exception of the Nuclear Material. The quantities needed vary based on the level of the item crafted.
