How to get the Caliban's Hand gauntlets in Destiny 2

Destiny 2‘s Season of the Haunted has begun spooking up the place. With a new seasonal storyline and mess of missions, comes a small pile of new loot to grab. Much like previous seasons, the loot pools have jumbled around a lot. Each core class has its own potential drops to hunt, and it offers a lot of potential for more varied builds and unique perks. For the Titans, we get some new Gauntlets. Warlocks got leggings instead with their own unique effects. But for this guide, we’re focusing on the Caliban’s Hand gauntlets in Destiny 2. This guide will cover what this new item can do for your build, and how to acquire it.

How to get the Caliban’s Hand gauntlets in Destiny 2

The Exotic gauntlets for Hunters, known as Caliban’s Hand, are only obtainable from solo Legend or Master Lost Sectors. It’s pretty easy to get, provided you run the Lost Sector on the right day. Destiny 2 Lost Sectors will rotate on a roster each day, with the mission start point being found in the overworld map. You trigger the mission by interacting with the marked flag. These won’t be easy, as they’re meant to be the top-end difficulty, so come prepared with your best-possible build.

So why do you want them? The Caliban’s Hand gauntlets, like many other Exotics, have their own unique Perk setup. The Perk is called Roast ‘Em. Players running it will gain some specific boosts to their Proximity Knife, mostly focusing on applying fire damage over time to a target affected by the triggered ability. Also, after throwing a Proximity Knife, you gain increased melee regeneration until the knife explodes. These gauntlets offer a fair amount of bonus damage for certain builds thanks to that proc.
