How do you get Bottom Dollar Hand Cannon in Destiny 2?
Despite its power and the desire for everyone to get one, you won’t be using it until you get it. Trouble is, they’re not very easy to get. These guns only drop as a random match reward from Gambit.
Bungie may expand this at some point, but I wouldn’t count on it. The team is very aware of how powerful this weapon is, and likely want to keep it from breaking game balance or the meta-game. There’s a reason you can only get it from one place, and also why the perk pool is so large. So if they do get added from new loot sources, it might be Umbral Engrams.
What are some good rolls?
With so many different perk rolls possible on the weapon, it’s hard to know what to expect. First, we need to know what to expect. The weapon has four slots and a bunch of different mods for each slot. Here are the details:
- Slot 1 – Corkscrew Rifling, Arrowhead Brake, Chambered Compensator, Extended Barrel, Fluted Barrel, Full Bore, Hammer-Forged Rifling, Polygonal Rifling, Smallbore
- Slot 2 -Accurized Rounds, Appended Mag, Tactical Mag, Extended Mag, Steady Round, Alloy Magazine, Flared Magwell
- Slot 3 – Surplus, Killing Wind, Fourth Time’s The Charm, Pulse Monitor, Feeding Frenzy, Hip-Fire Grip, Subsistence, Rapid Hit, Quickdraw, Slideshot, Rangefinder, Outlaw
- Slot 4 – Thresh, Wellspring, Unrelenting, Disruption Break, Multi-Kill Clip, Rampage, High-Impact Reserves, Eye of the Storm, Demolitionist, Dragonfly, Explosive Payload, Opening Shot
Accurized Rounds and Corkscrew Rifling are both pretty strong for better range. This is useful if you’re running in PvE and want to get a bit better damage on your target. If you’re running in PvP, Arrowhead Brake might be better in that slot, especially when paired with Tactical Mag. Your other two slots are a bit more open.
Rangefinder and Rampage could be good, although Rangefinder is a bit better liked by some PvP players. When going the PvP route, get something like HIgh-Impact Reserves or Opening Shot for better damage in a fight. PvE builds focused on taking out large groups of mobs might do better with Rampage or even Explosive Payload.
