How To Get More Quicksilver Missions In No Man’s Sky

Living Ships In No Man’s Sky

With the introduction of the new Living Ships in No Man’s Sky 2.3, players are tasked with investigating some new alien technology. To get this new ship class, there are some hoops you have to jump through. The new Living Ship has to be hatched from the Void Eggs, but there’s a step to get through before you even get to that point.

The first batch of missions can be accessed after you unlock the Space Anomaly and board it. Head to the center of the ship and consult with the Nexus. This AI NPC will direct you to complete various quests for them. Focus on the quests marked in red as they reward Quicksilver for completion. Complete these first. The other missions earn resources and other rewards which is nice, but not really what you’re focusing on.

Problem is, there’s no way to manually collect more Quicksilver Missions in the game. The only way to earn more Quicksilver Missions is to wait for the daily missions to reset and complete those each time they pop up. Basically this means you are going to need to log into No Man’s Sky a lot. Currently, the average Quicksilver reward per normal daily mission is 250 per mission completed. You cannot mine for it, shoot asteroids, trade with merchants,  or do anything else to earn Quicksilver. Rough math indicates that you will have to play for 13 days to earn the 3,200 Quicksilver from Quicksilver Missions to unlock the new Void Egg.
